Founded in 1990 with a single plant at the Port of Houston, Excalibar Minerals has grown to four production facilities in three states. We have an annual grinding capacity of one million tons, and manufacture a wide range of barium sulfate and calcium carbonate products. Our facilities are strategically located in prime oil exploration and/or industrial regions, allowing us to serve oil field and industrial clients across key geographic regions in the Midwestern, Southeastern, Rocky Mountain, Mid-Continental and Northern United States, as well as Western Canada.

The extensive raw materials supply chain network is a strategic and competitive strength of the company. We source our raw materials from both foreign and domestic suppliers, and are able to efficiently utilize the extensive transportation networks in the ports of the Gulf of Mexico to deliver finished products with timely precision and cost savings to our customers.
